hey everyone,
I am trying to install an aftermarket radio in my 99 pontiac grand prix. I have the correct wire harness and antenna adapter but when I plug it in there is no sound. Now, there is another wire that was connected into the stock car stereo, it is red and has a nine pin plug on the end. When I plug in the stock stereo there is no sound until i plug in that other 9 pin plug into the back....however the aftermarket radio doesn't have a plug for this...what is that plug and what do i do to make it work?
