99 Intruder 800 - no start

Hi,

Hoping someone could give me some idea as to why I might have power, but it won't even turn over?

I laid it down this afternoon, nothing major just on it's side it was still running at that point, I hit the kill switch and it won't even fire (turn over) at all now when hitting the start button.

Any help is greatly appreciated - we have a big ride planned for Christmas Day and really want a running bike.

:welcomes: You don't say which side you laid it down on, is it possible that it's on the left side and the kick stand kill switch may have gotten messed up, I don't know if the 99's had this feature.
 
It was the left side - we figured it out last night - the clutch safety switch shattered. So we did a direct connect so I guess I no longer have to pull the clutch in to start it.
