99 honda civic low idle/ stall problems.?

I have a 99 honda civic ex auto 131k on it...well my idle is around 200 rpms, and sometimes at a stoplight it will go all the way down and the car will basically be running on about 50or like 10 rpms because its barely staying on and all the lights will dim until i hit the gas and all the lights go back to full brightness, and today i was driving and suddenly my transmission wasnt responding until it eventually kicked in, and help would be appreciated
 
troghtle possiong switch is going failty and your tack sencer is also tied into that but would take it into a good mech and have it repaied and you might like to think about haveing it tuned up and get a lube job all the same time
