99 honda civic ecu trouble?

i have a 99 honda civic ex 5spd and my ECU is bad so i have to replace it and my number is 37820-P2E-A12 and i was wondering if i could use this 37820-P2E-A92 which is for a 99 honda civic EX, they're for the same car but the last two numbers are different does it matter?? can i still use it for my car???
does it matter if i use a automatic one instead of the manual one what coul it happen??
 
Well if the engine , transmission and basic features are the same then if it has the same ECU plug pin layout, harness and harness's on both cars yes you could use one for the other.
