Ok. So the other day i was going to take my driver's test. well i got there took the test and everything was fine. after i left to go home the check engine light came on and my car( 99 dodge durango 5.2L) started running real rough and the RPMs were fluctuating really bad. we did a regular tune up, spark plugs, oil, oil filter, and nothing changed still running rough. well we went to autozone and check the codes and it said cylinders 2+4 were open or something cant remember. well we bought new injectors for 2+4 and then it said 4 was open circuit. well we bought the TPS installed, still running rough. We dont know what else it could be.
Some other things;
alternator hot wire gets smoking hot and melted.
i have a system, 2 12"s with 1800w amp (but dont see how it could contribute to anything wrong)
got neons(underglow, interior glow)
i did pass my drivers test
Please help i really need some. we have been working on this car for three days and its getting aggravating.
the wire was also burnt beforei had the car and before any system was put into it...they replaced the alternator and wire and now its doing it again but i dont understand how the system would do that because we have had it unplugged for about 3 weeks. and it wasnt me that took it to autozone it was my dad that did it thats y i cant remember i will see about replacing those things but im pretty short on cash so its going to be difficult
