99 cadillac deville, my driver side front window is stuck and I can't get it back up.?

My window is about half way down. If I press the switch to the down position, the window will continue going down however it does nothing when pressing it in the up position. My passenger side windows work fine. The rear window on the driver's side never worked when we purchased this car a year ago. I should add that this is the master switch on the driver side.

I can't afford to take it to the shop and it is almost impossible to take the door panel completely off to have any access to the motor and switch. What should I do.
 
It is EASY to take the door panel off. It is only challenging to remove it without damaging the clips that hold it in place. Even if you break them, you can buy new ones at any auto parts store for a few $.

You can try prying out the switch, which is most likely the problem. If you can find a wiring diagram for the circuit, you can bypass the switch and supply power directly to the motor. Once the window is up, leave it up until you can afford to fix the problem properly.
