99 cadillac deville alarm issue....any sugestions?

my keyless remote broke but before that happen my alarm was engaging itself ,i also had an aftermarket stereo installed could that be the problem for the alarm??? do i need a bypass???or do i need to the stock stereo? or did remote caused it to act up when it broke??? really apreciate the help...thanks
