Is your car using coolant,do you have to add coolant often? Is there steam coming out of defroster vents? If so,your heater core or hoses to heater core are leaking.

You should check rubber door seals around your doors. They break down or get worn over the years and can leak.To check whether you wind shield is leaking, have some one hold a garden hose on it while you look for water dripping under dash.

i have a 99 buick regal.i am pretty mechanically smart do all my own engine repairs and what not but i can figure this out nor know were to start..my passenger side floor board seems to get damp when i am driving and it is raining outside or the roads are wet..and it rained last night and when i got in my car this morning there was prob a inch of water on the passenger floor..on have no idea how it got there the doors were all the way shut windows were up..my windshield or my door windows dont leak..how could it get that much water there when its sitting still..i dont think it could be the air conditioning condensation drain hose being pugged because the car wasnt on or the air conditioning at all..please help

it could be leaking in through the ac fresh air filter box underneath the cowl. just run water from the upper windshield area and let it run down the windshield and look to see if it is dripping in from the outside. if so then remove your windshield wiper arms and remove the cowl. you should be able to follow the water trail and find the leak and reseal it.

you still might have a leak in your windshield
or it could be leaking thru the heater ducts
I'd make sure the blower motor for the heater is sealed correctly
this is where I would start
or you might have a door in the heating system stuck open
