I am due to drive on a business trip tomorrow and this just happened today so need help asap.
The car has over 170000 miles on it and has never had a problem. I was driving a 4 hour trip and about 3 hours into I felt the car start to buck. It was subtle, but the car kinda felt like the engine was rocking, like the engine was going up and down subtle. It started small and by the end of the ride I could feel it heavily when moving. When stopped the bucking either ceased or was very very light. Once I made it to my location the engine light came on. I have checked all fluid levels and they are fine.
What would be making the engine buck like that?
