98 rm suzuki 250

Welcome aboard. I'm not much of a mechanic, but I would check to see if the plugs are the proper heat range, check the air filter in case it's dirty and causing a rich condition, make sure the carbs are jetted properly and not too rich. This is assuming they are gas fouled, if they are oil fouled that's a whole different problem. Then it could be rebuild time (rings etc.). Good luck!

2-cycle, right?
If so, are you sure you've got the mixture right?

If it's a 4-cycle, then only 2 things will foul the plugs (black): too much fuel or oil getting past the rings.......or getting up into the chamber by way of a crankcase breather system.

OR........don't laugh and don't take this personally but I've seen it happen.......you think it is a 2-cycle but it is NOT and the oil you are putting in the gas is what is causing the problem !!
