I was driving down the express way today after just getting my car fixed ( valve body, solenoid, and overdrive unit) it was running fine and I drove about 40 miles all the sudden it just stalled out and i had to have it towed to my house. Then i look underneath and the wires from the oxygen sensor are ripped out and dragging on the ground, so i thought for sure this was the problem and went and got a oxygen sensor and replaced it. I put the oxygen sensor on and still no start, I checked for spark at the spark plug by pulling the spark plug out and putting it near a ground and trying to crank it and saw no spark also i tried by actually touching the ground and still no spark. So I just got home and unplugged the battery (hoping to reset the computer). I can hear the fuel pump running when I turn the key any idea what could be going on?

if u have no spark your problem is electrical, check for loose wires on or near the distributor, u may need to replace the ignition module. autozone has testers for your electrical components and they will test it for u free of charge

CRANKING GOOD? CHECK FOR FUEL AT FUEL RAIL A TIRE VALVE LOOKING CAP push in on valve core w key on alot of fuel should be present, then check for spark by inserting screw driver into coil wire first...hold 1/4 away from a good ground (eng block) then check at spark plug wires also. if these 2 are good...is check engine light on? then suggest cam sensor or crank sensor, try wiggling wiring to these to sensors. good luck.
