Okay, so I have a 1998 Jeep Cherokee. It already has an aftermarket head unit installed, but it is not the right size for the car and is... I don't even know how old because it was in the car when we bought it. Anyways, I am looking to get a new one next month, something that will look good and can plug into my iPod. I have two in mind that I really like, one of which I am not sure if it will fit or not, because it is not on crutchfield or best buy's outfitting site things. So can anyone tell me if they know if it will fit or not? Or if anyone has a Jeep Cherokee, is the instalation process easy or not? Because the console around the stereo just pops off, and it is only held in by a couple of screws. Is it as easy as unscrewing it, unpluging wires from the old unit, to the new one? or what? I don't know much about stereos as you can probably tell. Please help.
