i own a 98 honda civic that started making squeaking noises on the front drivers side whenever driving over bumps and even when i push down on that side of the car it makes the squeaking noise. it is really annoying and i would like to fix the problem asap.

You probably need to replace the shock absorber. When a shock goes dry it starts to squeak. If you're wondering why this is happening all the time your driving its because when you go over a bump the shock engages same as when you push on that side of the car.

it is mostly your ball joints either upper or lower balljoint. Try putting some grease in it. Try poke a hole and put some oil. if the noise goes away the you which one it is. and try wiggle the your tire with one side jack up and wiggle up and down/ 12/6 position of the hand
