Every 3 months I need to put maybe a quart of coolant in. Dealership said it was the timing belt gasket (I think they said that) that needs to be replaced. Since they will have that detached it was said I may as well put in a new water pump. Cost..$1500-1700. Truck has only 85K miles and extremely clean. I am hesitant in spending the money. Can I repair the leak my self? What is the risk factor?
