98 Ford F150 Fuel Pump ?

Hello,
Anyone know whether or not the fuel pump is located inside or outside the fuel tank on a 98 F150? And if you've replaced one how big of a job was it?
 
Straps are a bitch to put back on, make sure gas tank is empty and have a friend on hand to help. Also make sure u use safety stands. After it down its easy. Puttin it back on is the fun part, lol. Oh yeah, goto autozone.com and it will show u the manual. Search for the fuel pump like u were going to buy it and somewhere on the page it will say repair info.
