98 ford f150,2 wheel drive,how do i repair the studs that connect the manifold to

the exhaust flange,rust out? the studs have rotted out and im losing compression,i dont want to spend hundreds of dollors in a shop,i always do my own repairs n im stumped on this one
 
The studs are threaded into the heads. You'll probably have to remove the exhaust manifolds to get them out. Maybe use a little PBblaster on them.
 
sounds to me like U are losing exhaust gases- not compression. Take it to a good muffler shop- after dropping the flange there might be enough of the stud to remove it. I have a special tool for exhaust studs- they will too.
