runs at idle great when you hit the gas gets up 2000 rpms sounds like it just boggs down and wants to die ,but it dont truck will go about 10 mpr dive it any more gas nothing just boggs down

hey jerry ! that sure sounds like fuel problems.sounds like there,s a restriction in the fuel lines, maybe fuel filter or it,s possibly could be the cat. is starting to clog up.

Sounds like it could possibly be the throttle positioning sensor. If you don't live too far away, try to get it to a part store or an oil shop and have them run an OBD scan. It should be no charge, and may tell you exactly what is wrong, it only works if you have an engine light on your instrument cluster. If not the throttle positioning sensor, check the MAF sensor (mass air flow). I doubt that it will be a fuel filter or pump, that may cause stalling, but wouldn't limit your RPMs.
