98 chevy lumina air compressor not working !!!!!?

I recently replaced my air compressor clutch on my 98 chevy lumina due to worn out bearings. The air condition was working very good but started to make a loud noise then quit working this is why I replaced the clutch but now the noise is gone but the compressor will not engage I checked all the fuses and they seem to be good is there something I am overlooking like a reset button or a hidden fuse link
Please Help ---------It's Getting Hot !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
