My aunt had a mechanic do a tune up on her blazer when she got it back the mechanic said to turn the key on and off 6 or 7 times and then start it because if not then it will not start. it was not like this. and now the mechanic is ignoring her. so im trying to fix this on my own pls help.
i checked it he only changed the oil, spark plug wires and cap n rotor.
Well the problem is it will not start half the time it will just turn over n over n over doing notthing at all. i sprayed starting fluid into intake and it fires up and i rev it up and it will run all day.
The problem is it will not start without the help of starting fluid. i thought the plugs were bad cause i can feel a miss fire at idle well i changed them and it still miss fires slightly. the fuel filter is good and the entire fuel system is working good.
when it does not start on its own it smells like gas at the muffler.
what could be wrong with this truck? everything is brand new!!!
