I have changed the idler pulley about 18 months ago and thought it was the water pump so I changed it but it still makes a squeaking sound that quickens as I accelerate. It isn't heat related as it sometimes starts when the engine is started and then goes away after a few miles and sometimes doesn't start up until it has been running for a few miles and sometimes, it just does it the whole time. I'm thinking it could be a motor mount as I noticed the wheel that drives the main serpentine belt off the engine seems to have a slight wobble to it. I don't have the money to put it in the shop right now and can do most work myself as I changed the idler pulley and water pump.
