I have a 97 Pontiac Grand Prix - the front Left Turn signal is not working. All other signals work and all blubs are good.

Every now and then the left front will work and then it stops.

I've checked all of the wiring around the headlamp assembly and the turn signal socket. everything has continuitity.

I am totally stumped where to check next.

The only odd thing.... not sure if this helps but when the left front signal is not working the left dash light does not blink at all. However, when its working it does blink.

if I mimic the same on the right by pulling the blub it blinks fast like the left but the right blinker in the dash lights up and blinks fast...

Any suggestions??

Check your fuses in your fuse box. If thats not the problem check the socket and make sure its not full of corrosion. And if thats not the problem get a new turn signal flasher unit. They are cheap at autozone. Most likely its your flasher i had the same problem with my truck. Only the right turn signal worked until i replaced the turn signal flasher and they both worked perfect. Good Luck
