97 pontiac grand am tranny "vanishes"?

I have a 97 grand am and when i shift into drive and press the gas or driving on the road comming to a stop ususally my tranny would "vanish". Meaning it seems like im in neutral, i hit the gas and all it does is rev no movement, but it will come back after a few seconds... we just did the tranny fluid change for an fyi

Well, if you just had the fluid changed, check the dipstick to make sure they filled it all the way to the full mark. If that's not it, it sounds like you'd better get MAACO.
