97 Marauder not running

Well I cannot get this 1997 suzuki marauder running. Its been in storage for 2 years and no doubtely all gummed up.

My knowledge of carbs is limited but yesterday I removed both carbs, removed the float bowls, floats, needle valves, and jets and cleaned them all thoroughly with carb cleaner. Replaced gaskets and reassembled. Put new gas in and new spark plugs spaced to .8. The bike still will not. I didnt dive into cleaning the carb top valve etc as I didnt know how complex it would be once I removed it. Do you think this will be necessary, or is something else going on that might be causing the bike not to fire up? Any information would be appreciated.

I just checked the float bowls, The rear carb float is draining when the float screw is unscrewed but Nothing came out of the front carb, what does that exactly mean?

Well, gee, I'm guessing you aren't getting any fuel into the front carb !!

Now that you've had them apart, you should be able to figure out what would cause that..........in addition to an obstructed fuel line.

As for the bigger problem, are the plugs getting spark?
Is the starter/engine turning over?

The carbs really need to be completely taken apart, soaked overnight, and then completely cleaned to get them clean. One clogged tiny little passage will mess things up.

I am getting spark, found that out the hard way  and it is turning over.

What im trying to figure out is what exactly would be obstructing the fuel from getting to the second carb (front mounted carb) the fuel line from the tank feeds into the rear carb and then there is a fuel line from the top of the rear carb to the front carb (the one that isnt getting gas). What part/component inside the rear carb is responsible for sending gas to the front one?

That sounds like you should have a fuel pump.
It also sounds like you REALLY need a service manual.
I'm not familiar with that model so ......time for me to bow out. ;)
