My AC pulley shaft broke,making my serpentine belt to long can I use A serpentine belt without AC?(approx. 4" shorter) Would this be the right lenght? Do not have the time or money to replace AC unit at this time.

It all depends on what car you are working on. Some cars you can remove the compressor and the non A/C belt will work just fine. Others you can't. You didn't give enough information to be able to tell you for sure.
