My alternator is on its last leg. The other day Out of the blue i got a bad belt squel from my ride later that night it came back and my power steering went out. At the same time the Battery light came on. I can still start And drive the car with the sound and the loss of power steering. So my question is weather my Power Steering Pump or my alternator is causing the issue. Was under the influence that a bad alternator would result in the inability to start the car.
