I have a 97 Chevy Blazer, 4x4, 4.3 V6, 4door, auto tranny. When I back out of the drive and put it into gear to start rollin down the street, as soon as I start taking off down the road, right at about 3-4 mph it will make a relatively loud grinding noise. It doesn't affect the machine or performance or anything, it just makes this loud grinding noise right when taking off, and it only does it when you first take off after starting it, not when you stop at a stoplight and take off again or anything like that. I'm 90% sure it's coming from the front the way it sounds, so I was guessing possibly brakes, but then it should constantly make the sound. Then I thought the steering, but it doesn't matter if it's turned or straight, it does it regardless. Doesn't matter the gear either at all. Maybe would it be wheelbearings? But like I said it only does it real quick when you first take off after just starting it, and just once. Please help!! Thank you!!
