...bad .Can I bypass switch Safely? A/C compressor works intermittently...If I put power directly to a connector at the compressor ( I think this one is on the output side of the thermal limit switch. i.e. bypassing the thermal switch)the clutch engages
This is with the a/c activated and car running)
If I connect 12v. at the relay output wire to the compressor It will not engage clutch.
i think it is the thermal limit switch I have read about....Can I Safely bypass this switch ?? If I did should/could I just run a/c on economy??
one more thing...If I turn on a/c and wire the clutch from battery, (like I stated above) and keep it on there for about a 1.5 minutes or so the clutch will usually stay engaged after i remove the wire!!!

I have put a vacuum on it and no leaks, and when it works....It is ice cold !!
