Hi,
recently i was just driving and my fuel pump went out on my Taurus. so i bought a new fuel pump for the car installed it and it still doesn't work so i go to find that the car is not sending electricity to the fuel pump for it to turn on. tested the old fuel pump and it was still good. i checked all the wires no rips or tears. so this leads me to that maybe the crash sensor went off, if it even has one? if it does can anyone tell me where this sensor is? or anything else that could be the problem? also the service engine soon light was on for a year because of i needed a new camshaft sensor, could this have lead to the computer shutting off the fuel pump?
do NOT answer with a stupid answer saying seek professional help, i am a do it yourself. and an answer like that is just a waste of my time and will be reported as spam.
