I own a 95' toyota 22RE regular cab small pickup. i want to put in a system. but i dont know anythig. what kind of amp and speakers should I get? and where to put them, its only a single cab. i have ver little room behind the seat.
i recomend you get 2 kicker 12 cvr 4 ohm which cost about 150 each then get an amp that puts out 800 watts rms not max watts it should say 800 watts rms@2ohms because when they get wired they will go down to a 2 ohm load which is good and the amp you can choose which depends on the brand but i would go with a name brand because in the long run they are better than the cheap stuff. then i recomend you get a ported box i think ported boxes are the best you can get one at best buy im guessing you arn't going to install it your self so its going to cost you about 80 dollars an hour to install and since its new it would take about 2 or 3 hours because they would have to put new cables and they will also charge you for the cables. and you got your bass.
for your speakers i would go with alpine type s and i don't think you may have to buy an amp for it you could just replace them with the stock. it may be expensive but you get really good quality sound if it sounds too much buy your parts seperate like if there is a best buy around look online for the outlet center and some times you get the best deals in store or online for some car audio
