I have a 95" Honda Civic, about a week ago the needle all of a sudden stopped reading the speed. It stayed at zero and then speed up to past 120...although my speed was not changing much. Does anyone know what is wrong and how to fix it?

It sounds like the transducer or the speedometer, any local auto repair shop should fix this by replacing it ( pretty easy and cheap )
May also be the speedometer but unlikely

There are two possible causes here both are recommend to go to a shop to get fixed unless you have good automotive knowledge, one is a faulty speed sensor located in the transaxle, this has a pinion gear on it and puts out an electrical signal to move the guage, over time the teeth on the gear wear down. Option two would be that the wiring to the sensor is bad, this is completely possible andywhere from the top of the sensor to the guage.
