I thought it was the throwout (release) bearing so yesterday I replaced the whole clutch and 2 bearings (pilot and release). However, the noise didn't go away. it sounds like something grinding (and no not grinding gears, I know the difference) metal against metal, but the sound stops when you depress the clutch pedal. What could cause this? I wanna fix it/get it fixed A.S.A.P. since it is my only way back and forth to work.
