Hi. I have a 95 Dodge Spirit, 6 cylinder. I have been having brake troubles. Initially my foot went to the floor and the brake light came on. My husband found a leaky wheel cylinder and replaced it. It was better and the light went out, but the peddle was not as hard as it should be. In about two days it went to the floor again - no light this time. He now has changed the master cylinder and the vacuum booster. We bled the entire system and the peddle is still going to the floor. All the other wheel cylinders, etc. seem to be fine - no leaks anywhere. No leaky lines either. He is baffled. Any suggestions?
Thanks DodgeMan. That thought had crossed his mind. The master cylinder came form the local parts store, but is rebuilt. We may have to try returning it. I'll let you know.
