Its not a convertable and its a V8 and not a stick shift.. but sometimes when I'm driving down the freeway or on a main street, my car dies in the middle of driving.. and to re start it I have to take a spark plug wire and put a screw driver in it and touch it to metal.. thats what a guy who stopped to help me start it again said to do and it works.. but i cant keep doing this everytime, cuz its dangerous... any ideas on what this could be?! maybe the spark plugs?? also, my spark plugs, one of them has oil in the hole, and one other one has white all over it.. i know i have to replace them, but does anyone know if that could be the problem of why it wont start sometimes? im a little confused, and dont have the money right now til i get paid to take it into a shop so i have to do it myself, cuz i have to get to work and back.. any ideas??

You have oil saturated sparkplug wires. You probably need a tune-up too. To keep the oil from leaking back into the sparkplug tubes you will need new seals for the valve cover. It's probably $500-700 at the shop and not something you can tackle at home. Good Luck!
