95 Chevy Blazer, fuel injector not working. The fuel pump and injector are brand new.?

Whenever I add starter fluid, it runs just perfectly until the fluid runs out. It will not start otherwise. The fuel pump is brand new and sends fuel up to the fuel injector. The fuel injector is brand new, but however will not spray fuel. Any ideas? ECM or Anti theft perhaps? Help me out!
Oh and a mechanic hooked it up to a machine and it shows no problems.
