95 cadillac sedan deville has a antifreeze smell (very slight ) is this normal?

i have a 95 cadillac sedan deville i just bought and it runs great and has no leaks or anything but i can smell a slight smell of antifreeze(i think) maybe i am just being paranoid because there is no coolant in my oil(so i dont think its a head gasket) it may just be the smell of the engine (i drove a neon before i bought this car) so thinking maybe because of the big grill that i can smell the heat of the engine (it is very slight ) so what do you think
 
well i say do a very throe inspection of all the hoses clamps radiator water pump, etc.. and see if you can find a leak plus check the radiator cap... some of them have a pressure test and it might be bad
and not holding pressure and venting ever so slightly and that might be what you are smelling
