cylinder.? I have a 95 Lesabre and the lock cylinder got locked up last night so I had it replaced. Now I'm trying to start the car and security light keeps blinking and it won't start. I already have a bypass transponder and remote starter installed so I haven't bothered getting the new key programmed as the bypass module should take care of it. Why isn't the car starting?
I messed around with it a bit more and now the security light no longer blinks but it does come on and stays on for a few seconds even after I remove the key.
Yes the new lock cylinder came attached with the electrical part. However, my mechanic said the wires from the last lock cylinder were just hanging loose and so he let the wires for the new lock cylinder hang loose. I believe they are supposed to be connected to a resistor but can't seem to find it. What do I do with the wires?
