I have a 95 lesabre limited that i am working on. It was making a noise similar to a frozen caliper. The caliper was not frozen but i changed it anyway just to be absolutely sure. I also replaced the pads and the rotors. The front drivers side is still making a loud humming sound that gets worse as you slow down. I was the thinking it could be the wheel hub assembly because this car does not have wheel bearings. I would like other mechanics opinions and feel free to ask more questions.

i appreciate all comments and help
well yes thats true but i guess what i meant about that is that its within the hub assembly. sorry
was lubed in october i believe

all cars have wheel bearings on all four wheels! always!

Here is a list of something that makes noise when moving;

worn brake pads squeak/scrape
bad brake pads or rotors scrapping/grinding
wheel bearings humming or drone sound
axle or cv joint clunking mostly when turning
bad tire, out of round/has bubble thumping, shaking car
worn out rubber bushings squeak, small clunk
rim or tire scraping on inner fender skirt scrapping
bad tie rod end clunk when turning
bad ball joint clunk on bump in road
shock loose/broken bang/clunk / spongie bounce
bad srut bang/clunk /spongie bounce
dragging something underneath screpe

sound like a wheel hub , this is a wheel bearing that gets louder the faster you go, how many miles, up to or over 100,000 if it is the origial bearing it is this.
cost $130 to 170

all cars have wheel bearings or they couldn't roll very well not to mention the friction would cause fires now you know you can fix it here is a picturehttp://www.1aauto.com/1A/wheel-bearing-hub-front/Buick/LeSabre/1ASHF00021/1006771?utm_source=google_base&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=google_base
