Hi. Have a Jeep Grand Cherokee. Sometimes one of my back doors, the latch won't catch? Right now I just don't touch it. Is there an easy fix for this possibly? My jeep is a money pit, but I just can't bring myself to sell it.
Most likely some WD-40 will do the trick....Do you have a man around the house or a neighbor that could get his fingers dirty?? Usually you just have to work the latch manually and get it lubricated....not that a woman can't do it, I'm a gentleman I think a woman shouldn't have to. You may have to remove the hatch panel (careful not to break the tabs) and work on it from there.
