I have a 94 Accord but the anti-theft system is not stock. There is a key fob for it that unlocks the doors and allows the key to start the car. If the button on the fob is not pushed but the doors are unlocked with the key and the key is put into the ignition and turned to start it, there is no noise at all and nothing happens. So my key fob is no longer working and bought a new battery for it but that did nothing. Without the fob to disarm the anti theft, I am unable to start my car. I only had one fob because the original owner kept the other one. I don't know what brand the anti theft system is but the dealership said it is definitely not Honda. Do I need to disconnect it in order to start my car again? and if so, how can i do that without getting in towed to a shop?
