Replaced heater core yesterday, it was clogged, and got heat...only for a while. Lots of rust came form the old core. After driving a while it went cold. Later driving provided heat again, but not that long. Heads leak a little based on pressure test from dealer last year, stat is working fine, radiator has a very small leak but coolant stays full. Many years ago I disconnected a motor under the dash that worked with the recirc/MAX for the A/C, but it never had an impact on heat. (It was buzzing) Doors and dampers in the dash all seem to be working. What am I missing ?
