94 Buick Century cd player insulation question?

I have a 94 Buick century and we removed the original radio to put in a cd player bought all the needed attachments got it all hooked up and working but there is no sound coming out of the speakers the speakers work with with the original radio however the cd player we are hooking up is a Dual XDM6820 you can find info on it @ http://shopper.cnet.com/car-audio/dual-xdm6820-radio-cd/4014-3425_9-31481628.html#info-5
