1997 honda civic
we at the shop replaced a d15y8 block with a d15z6 block now we are having starting problems. I have re wired the dist. from the 1994 block obd1 to the 97 obd2 dist wiring all that is fine but When we go to fire the car up it floods out. I have replaced the cap,rotor,spark plugs,spark plug wire, the intake air temp sensor, the TPS, the crank, cam, and TDC sensor in the dist. but still I have it flooding out! If you unplug the injectors it will fire up for a sec then die as it should leaving un pluged and turning it over a cupple time deflooding i and plug the injectors back in and hold it to the floor it will start! why is it flooding out like this oh ya I also put the y8 intake on the z6 motor if this helps!
