when I put my 1993 mazda miata in reverse and start backing up it makes a really bad rubbing sound then a pop. What is going on? It is a 5 speed...is that the rotars or axle or something...I do have high perfomance tires on it but I dont think that has anything to do with it. It only makes that sound when I initial back up...once it make s popping noise it doesnt do it again.
