L Leonard New member Jan 10, 2011 #1 ...unit or gage? I have a 1993 Jeep Wrangler YJ and the gas gage always reads half a tank. I hear the sending unit bouncing in the tank, so I don't think it's stuck. How can I tell if the sending unit is bad or if its the gage itself?
