93 honda civic stock want aftermarket or performance parts?

i want to add performance parts to my 93 honda civic dx 1.6L. Everything on it is stock and i want to add as many parts as i can but ive been told by my parents im not allowed to get an engine swap im not sure why but its stupid. Basically what i want to know is what specific parts you would recommend for my car. I'd also like to know everything i can possibly do performance wise to my car. thanks
 
And considering that there are several MILLION websites that provide that information, as people have been modifying Civics for decades.....

Why would you even need to ask? USE GOOGLE. It's not hard....
