I have a 93 taurus and the motor cuts out after driving for a while. First the radio fads out , then the lights will dim away, followed by my battery light coming on and then the motor offically cutting out. I at first believed the alternator was bad with what was going on and replaced it, but the same thing is still happening. i've checked the wiring for anything that could be loose to cause the motor to cut out or cause the battery to not get charged.
The kicker is that after a lil while of the car sitting and you go to start it again- it acts as if it never happened and will run fine for a while and then it happens again..
so with that all said WTF is the problem?
