I am looking for a Cadillac fleetwood model year 93-96. Some people call those cars as Big Body. I am mostly going to cruise with this car and also will use it as a backup car.
I am currently driving 03 Accord Coupe EX V6 with all options except navi. Its a nice car and i get around 20-25 mpg.
Since i drive a coupe i have very limited access to rear seats and if i wrap them with plastic bag and slap some fake honda factory stickers on them, i can basically sell them as brand new. I have a big trunk but its not usefull i have to bend and push half of my body inside the trunk to get something..
I read bunch of reviews on those big body cadillacs and 80-90% percent of the owners say they get around 23-25 mpg on the highway and 16-18 mpg in the city? Are these numbers correct? The reason i am asking this question is because they have 5.7 LT-1 Corvette engine. they weight around 4200-4300 pounds and i am just having hard time believing those numbers.
I heard that cadillacs are expensive to fix. Is is true?
I am single have no kids. I am thinking about buying this car for a comfy and roomy ride. I may throw some speakers in the trunk and make it more enjoyable.
Any suggestions?
