i broke a key off in my ignition and had to take the ignition to a locksmith so they could get the key out. i installed the ignition back in my car and ever since it has acted as if the key is in the ignition when it isn't. it is draining my battery so i have to disconnect it after every use. there are 2 wires on the back side of the assembly and when i disconnect one it seems to fix the problem. I am wondering what these wires are used for? I can still start my car, i just want to know if it would be ok to leave one disconnected?
