I have a 92 Jeep Cherokee Laredo. It 4.0L and is 4 wheel drive. Over the last few weeks it has been running very hot. I replaced the thermostat on it last week. That helped for a few days and then it started running hot again. The whole reason I bought this Jeep was to help me get by on the snowy days in NE and so far I havent even been able to drive it on those days. If you have any suggestions please let me know it is becoming very frustrating.

I did check the water pump and it doesn't seem to leaking. Or making the typical clanking noises oriented with those going out.

Congratulations on the best purchase you can make =) cherokee's are known for there cooling problems. The biggest mistake cherokee owners make is not burping the system. Welcome to the family... visit www.naxja.org to find details on burping and other cooling fixes. See you there. Brian

heater inside working thermostat is working
radiator cap off start - is it flowing the anti freeze

25 cent car wash or power washer inside the hood wash backwards the bugs out of radiator - you check this with flashlight put behind and look thought front see the light - ac unit un do top 2 bolts on radiator push back and wash - outside water and bugs swell with the heat and no air gets thought - 16 years of bugs
