92 Honda Accord - $2000 for 162k Miles, is this good or bad?

92 Honda Accord for $2000 with about 162,000 miles on it.

Does that sound ok to you? Its currently going to be fixed because of a broken muffler and anything else thats wrong with it when he checks it out. Once its fixed and worked on, he is selling it. Has a clean Car Fax record.

This a good economical car and decision to take it in that point of its life span?

I could get an 02 Lancer instead but I bet it wouldn't have the longevity of an Accord. Also that 02 Lancers over $4000 and thats way out of my price range, with it having 105k miles.

be careful that's quite a bit of mileage... as for the lancer it will probably last just as long IF they were both treated well and taken care of... i honestly don't know...i personally wouldn't do it.. i'd take the honda for $1500... i say try to talk them down first.. good luck
